Internships
NAFDI believes internship is an integral part of the curriculum and works closely with businesses to understand the skills required within the industry. The goal of encouraging internships is to fill in the skill gap and for students to gain an overview of the profession along with experience in a fair setting.
Internships introduce students to the professional office and practice. In addition to this students earn academic credit for what they learn in the off-campus experience.
It promotes collaboration with practising designers in meaningful and relevant off-campus learning experiences. This multi-level placement process sources students local, national, and international opportunities.
