NAFDI – School of Interior Design, kickstarted its academic year with an inspiring Orientation 2025, hosted at MKES College. The event welcomed a fresh batch of aspiring interior designers and set the tone for a creative and industry-aligned learning journey.
Students were privileged to hear from distinguished guest speakers who brought a wealth of professional and academic expertise:
🎤 Mr Mehmood Khan, an interior designer with over 30 years of experience in spatial optimisation and turnkey projects across Mumbai, shared his journey and the importance of functional design thinking.
🎤 Mrs Vaswati Ganguly, an architect with two decades of project leadership and academic contribution, offered deep insights into green architecture, styling, and global trends in interior design.
🎤 Mr Saad Shaikh, an expert in CAD and BIM technologies, spoke about the value of mastering design tools and blending creativity with technical skill for future-ready careers.
Together, these speakers provided students with a strong industry perspective, practical wisdom, and encouragement to shape meaningful design careers.
